Greetings, dear readers! – GIBZ Lehrperson weilt mit dem Mobilitätsprogramm Leonardo da Vinci in England

Greetings, dear readers! As I sit down to pen this blog post, my heart is filled with excitement and fond memories of the enriching experience I had in Bournemouth, supported by the „Leonardo da Vinci“ exchange program. For four weeks, I immersed myself in a journey of language, culture, and personal growth, attending a language course to conquer the prestigious Cambridge Advanced Exam (CAE).

The programme offered an ideal setting to refine my language skills. While the excitement was palpable, there was no denying the pressure of having only four weeks to prepare for the CAE. Many would argue that it’s an ambitious goal, as the CAE is renowned for its high level of difficulty. However, I was determined to embrace the challenge, knowing that with perseverance and dedication, anything was possible.

Outside the classroom, I was living and breathing English in one of the most beautiful coastal towns in the UK. Engaging with locals, fellow students, and even fellow travellers, I was constantly exposed to diverse accents and conversational styles. This immersion played a crucial role in boosting my confidence and fluency, and it was an excellent complement to the formal language lessons.

I encourage all language learners to seize every opportunity that comes their way, no matter how short the timeframe may be. It’s about expanding horizons, making connections, and discovering the world through new linguistic lenses.
